Wai Shao is known for his sound judgement, his analytical abilities, and his excellent communication skills. He acquired more than 20 years of professional accounting experience working with Richter LLP, Ernst & Young LLP and PSB Boisjoli LLP before joining the WJDS-Times CPA team in 2019.
Wai’s clients include small- and medium-sized companies from various sectors: real estate companies, condominium developers, professional services firms, and financial and investment companies are among the satisfied clients who have placed their trust in Wai for many years. Wai offers a wide range of accounting and taxation advice, directs the compliance of income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts, and handles communications with the tax authorities on behalf of his clients. He also provides his clients with direct assistance in managing and settling tax audits and in exploring tax planning opportunities.
Wai uses his strong leadership and communication skills to contribute significantly to the training and professional development of his team members and colleagues. He regularly organises and delivers in-house training sessions and serves as a mentor to accounting students through the CPA Order and UQAM mentorship programs.
